Academic Honors and Awards
Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students are recognized for their academic performance each fall and winter term.
Effective as of the 2026-2027 academic year, the university will have three levels of distinction for undergraduate students who achieve academic excellence: President’s Lists, Dean’s Lists, and Honors.
Undergraduate students with a term grade point average (GPA) of:
- 3.90 will be placed on the President’s List;
- 3.50 will be placed on the Dean’s List;
- 3.20 will be placed on the Honors List.
To be eligible, students must complete a minimum of 12 academic credits during the term. Weighted letter grades must be earned for all courses.
Graduate Students
Graduate students are recognized for their academic performance each fall and winter term. A graduate student with a term GPA of 3.70 or above will receive the Graduate Academic Distinction Adward (GADA).
To be eligible for the GADA, students must complete a minimum of 9 academic credits during the term. Weighted letter grades must be earned for all courses.
