International Student Services
The Office of International Student Services (ISS) at Fairleigh Dickinson University serves over 1000 currently enrolled and recently graduated international students. The office staff is dedicated to providing students with immigration support services and assisting them in their transition to FDU and the United States.
ISS works with students to provide them access to academic, co-curricular, and professional opportunities so they have an outstanding FDU experience and future success in the professional marketplace. The ISS staff also provides one-on-one advisement to ensure student are successful in maintaining proper immigration status.
In case of emergency or issues at the port of entry after ISS business hours you may contact the Metropolitan Campus Office of Public Safety at 201-692-2222. Please include all the details of your situation, your full name as it appears on your I-20 or DS-2019, the phone number for the return call, and your FDU student ID number. They will contact an ISS advisor to respond to the situation.

Students may schedule an appointment with an advisor or submit requests, except CPT requests
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 2-5 PM
Walk-in advising hours are meant for students to meet with an ISS advisor for a maximum of 10 minutes. No appointment is necessary
CPT applications may only be submitted during walk-in hours
Students with SEVP Portal issues may call in to get assistance during walk-in hours
