Academic Profile

Anthony Volpe, MD earned his BA from Rutgers State University, NCAS, and his MD from the Autonomas University of Guadalajara School of Medicine, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.  He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at Huron Road Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, and his Residency in Internal at Texas Tech University in El Paso, Texas. He also completed a one-year Fifth Pathway Training at Rutgers University/UMDNJ at Hackensack Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. He has been board-certified in Internal Medicine since 1995. He has been recognized in Castle/Connolly, “How to Find the Best Doctors in the New York-Metro Area”, Top Doctors: New York Metro Area, New York Magazine: Top Doctors, New Jersey Monthly: Top Doctors Town & Country Magazine: Top Doctors, Inside Jersey Magazine Top Doctors Patients’ Award, Compassionate Doctor Recognition, Top 10 doctor award, Patients’ choice 5th Anniversary Award, Compassionate Doctor Award-5 Year Honoree.

My desire is to teach PA students didactic and clinical medicine, which will help source the increasing need for overall patient care.
 
Clinical Experience

Dr. Volpe has over 40 years of diverse clinical medical experience, which includes 35 years of patient care in offices, hospitals, and ancillary centers.
