Academic Profile

Professor Jennas has over 21 years of experience as a certified registered nurse anesthetist. He has worked in various institutions such as Kings County Hospital Center, a level trauma center, Deborah Heart and Lung Center, and over 17 years of cardiothoracic experience at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. During his tenure, he has served as program director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he and his team have educated over 80 nurses to become CRNAs. These are serving in various roles in medical centers throughout the city, state, and nationally.

Professor Jennas is excited to join the faculty and staff in the School of Nursing and Allied Health.
