Academic Profile

My teaching experience spans from undergraduate to graduate students in all divisions, and both lecturer and clinical capacities. My generalist and specialist nursing programs include the following:  LPN, LPN to RN, associate degree RN, generic BSN, RN to BSN, graduate 2nd degree RN, Clinical Nurse Leader, Nurse Practitioner, and DNP. 

For the past 20+ years, I have been in practice as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. My current Family Nurse Practitioner activities are centered within an Adult Home that specializes in Mental Health.  Prior FNP experience focused on Domestic Violence (child-adult), College Health (adolescent-young adult), Adult/Assisted Living (adult-elderly), and Hospice (adult). My scholarly activities include seven publications in peer-reviewed journals, reviewer for three nursing journals, and evidence-based research podium presentations with abstracts published in the proceedings of the research conference
