Academic Profile
Sara Lautman is a cartoonist and illustrator. She is the author of I Love You (Retrofit 2017), Lying and Cursing (Tinto Press 2014), and many other comics collections. Her next book, a graphic novella, is forthcoming from Diskette Press in 2020. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Playboy, Mad, The Paris Review, and The New Yorker, where she contributes regularly. She teaches comics at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland, where she lives.
