Celebrating 2026 Pinnacle Award Recipient at FDU Vancouver
The 2026 Pinnacle Award recipient at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) Vancouver Campus, is the epitome of resilience, perseverance and hard work. Parsa Mokari Zadeh Asil is an Iranian international student who began his post-secondary education at FDU Vancouver. In 2026, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Throughout his four years of study, he remained committed to his academic goals and personal development with excellence amid challenging and difficult times.
During his time at FDU, he completed a minor in Business Administration and received four distinguished scholarships. Through his perseverance and hard work, Parsa is graduating summa cum laude and will be awarded the Latin Honors Gold Medal for achieving a CGPA above 3.85. In addition, he has been consistently placed on the Honors List every semester for four years. He also participated in student activities and was an active member of AI, IT, and Cybersecurity clubs at the university.
Alongside his studies, Parsa successfully entered the tech industry, gaining practical experience as an IT Assistant both on and off campus. Over these four years, he completed several technical projects and attended various technology conferences, which helped him expand his knowledge and professional network.
In addition to his academic and professional activities, Parsa enjoys playing sports, listening to music, and spending time with his family. He is a swimmer and also enjoys playing volleyball and soccer. He has a strong interest in classical and jazz music, particularly piano-driven pieces. Parsa has been fortunate to have a very supportive family. His father, Reza, has always been his best friend, mentor, and supporter, providing him with unconditional love and kindness to help him live his dream life.
“During these four years, we gained knowledge, developed skills, built friendships, and created memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives,” Parsa shared in his speech as the 2026 Pinnacle Award recipient. “We became more confident, more experienced, and more prepared for a bright future.”
For the future, Parsa aims to be a lifelong learner, maintaining a positive outlook and steady motivation for continued growth. He hopes to contribute to society through technology and science. He also plans to stay connected with people who share similar goals and values, while doing his part to create a meaningful and positive impact.
