Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.
Mission
The Mission of the International Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business, to foster personal and professional excellence, to advance the values of the Society, and to serve its lifelong members.
Significance of Beta Gamma Sigma Letters
Student Membership
Is by invitation only. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest acknowledgement of academic achievement a student can receive in an undergraduate or master’s business program. To be eligible for membership, a student must rank in the upper 10 percent of the junior class, upper 10 percent of the senior class or upper 20 percent of the graduating master’s class.
Chapter Honoree Recipients
The Chapter Honoree award is conferred upon those who have furthered the ideals of the Society through outstanding business and managerial leadership. A Chapter Honoree is any person who has achieved distinction primarily in business and administration and who possesses those qualities that Beta Gamma Sigma fosters.
