Career Services is dedicated to educating and empowering the students of Fairleigh Dickinson University through counseling, guidance, training, and career-related programs. We encourage exploration and professional development in preparation for the world of work and/or further education in pursuit of life balance and a fulfilling career.

Career Development Events
Career Development events (including workshops and webinars) are led by Certified Career Development Professionals who provide guidance on the latest resources and strategies for career success. These sessions give students practical opportunities to build career-ready skills such as job search strategies, professional branding, networking, and career exploration, and how to implement AI effectively in their career development. Career Resources
Explore employment opportunities, program-specific career pathways, reference materials, practicum opportunities, labour market updates, and self-help resources through the FDU-Vancouver Career Services Resources Boards and TV screens located throughout both floors of the Cambie campus as well as on the Career Services Hub and our Instagram page @fduv.careerservices.
Career Advising Services
Students and Alumni can book an appointment with a Career Services Advisor through the Career Services Hub if they require one-on-one assistance in career exploration, job search, networking, resumes, cover letters and interviews.
Career Services Employer Events
The Career Services Department provides information regarding on-campus and off-campus career fairs as well as employer visits, on-campus hiring events, panel discussions and more. Volunteering With Career Services
Career Services provides a variety of volunteering opportunities for big events such as career fairs and hiring events. If you are interested in gaining valuable experience that you can potentially also include on your resume, network with the FDU community and advance your skills, please complete the Career Services Volunteer Interest Form.
Internship Opportunities
Internships are experiential learning opportunities that provide students with the chance to explore their career interests through work experience while earning credits towards their program in a general or major elective course.
