Meet Real Estate Partner Charles Thompson
Meet Charles Thompson, MSA’16 (Metro), founder of Thompson Realty Group, and Knights partner.
Charles Thompson: As a local kid from Teaneck, N.J., I was always familiar with the Metropolitan Campus’s academic and athletics culture. My mother Darlene Thompson, MBA’07 (Metro), is an alumna. FDU has a great MBA program. With those factors, the decision was easy.
CT: As a former student-athlete, I understand the dedication and commitment it takes to perform at an elite level in the classroom and in the arena. The fact that I get to support my alma mater and help the local community all at once makes it extra special.
CT: I remember the men’s NCAA tournament runs. In 1998, they were close to upsetting the University of Connecticut team and in 2005 they almost beat No.1 Illinois as a No.16 seed.
CT: I hope this partnership with the Knights is beneficial to both sides through fostering great relationships, community outreach initiatives and continuous support to the student-athletes and the University
