Summer Housing 2026 application will be available via MyHousing on April 1st, 2026

The deadline to apply is: Thursday, April 30th, 2026 at 11:59 PM

Summer Move In – Move Out Housing Dates (Please note that the rates provided are from Summer 2025 and are anticipated to remain largely consistent for Summer 2026. Updated pricing will be shared soon).

Pre-Summer Housing: $200

Summer 1 (May 19 – June 28):

  • Double rate: $1,200
  • Single Rate: $1,650

Summer 2 (June 9 – July 20):

  • Double rate: $1,200
  • Single Rate: $1,650

Summer 3 (June 30 – August 9):

  • Double rate: $1,200
  • Single Rate: $1,650

Summer 1&2 (May 19 – July 20):

  • Double rate: $1,800
  • Single Rate: $2,475

Summer 2&3 (June 9 – August 9):

  • Double rate: $1,800
  • Single Rate: $2,475

Entire Summer (May 19 – August 9):

  • Double rate: $2,400
  • Single Rate: $3,300

Post-Summer Housing: $400

*There are limited single rooms offered during the summer. Singles will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.


Summer Housing Dates

  • Housing assignments processed and notifications sent by Friday, May 8th, 2026   

Additional Documentation:

  1. “FDU Summer School” – Must be registered for summer Session classes in order for application to be processed.
  2. “Internship/Co-op” – A letter from your FDU academic program advisor or FDU Career Development Center, on FDU letterhead, verifying your participation in an FDU-approved internship or co-op. Letters can be emailed to fduhousing@fdu.edu.
  3. “On-Campus Employment” – A letter from your FDU employer, on FDU letterhead, verifying your employment for the summer sessions you are requesting housing. Letters can be emailed to fduhousing@fdu.edu.
  4. “Other” – Letters explaining the situation can be emailed to fduhousing@fdu.edu.

 Additional Information:

  1. Financial Clearance: Students must be financially cleared through Enrollment Services prior to moving into the residence halls.
  2. Meal Plans: Meal plans are not offered during the summer months.
  3. Housing Assignments: Summer Housing is provided in one central location on-campus. The location will be announced closer to the end of the academic year.
  4. Housing Accommodation Requests: Students with disabilities that require a specific type of housing assignment to ensure equal access to the housing program may request a housing accommodation by submitting a modification request with the Office of the Disability Support Services will then make a recommendation to Housing & Residence Life.

*Summer Session 3 residents who pay for Post Summer Housing and are continuing with us in the residence halls for Fall 2026, will move into their Fall 2026 room assignment a couple of weeks prior to the Summer Session 3 Move-Out Day. You will receive additional information in the summer.
