Prakriti Dhital is an aspiring AI professional currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) Vancouver, Canada. Originally from Nepal, she is driven by a passion for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software development. With a strong academic foundation in programming, data structures, and modern tech frameworks, Prakriti is building a career focused on innovative AI solutions and real-world applications.
Throughout her academic journey, FDU Vancouver has played a pivotal role in shaping her path toward becoming an AI Intern at TechVest Global. Through hands-on coursework, active participation in AI-focused student clubs, and mentorship from faculty, Prakriti has developed both the technical skills and confidence required in today’s competitive tech landscape. How did FDU Vancouver prepare you for the internship process?
FDU Vancouver has played a significant role in preparing me for this internship opportunity. Through my coursework, I built strong foundations in programming, data structures and software development. Career Services helped me refine my resume and encouraged me to be proactive and strategic while applying for opportunities.
Being part of AI-related clubs also helped me stay updated with current research and industry trends, which further strengthened my interest in artificial intelligence. Additionally, guidance from professors during my coursework and projects helped me develop both the technical skills and confidence to apply my knowledge in real-world scenarios.
What does the TechVest AI Internship mean to you?
The TechVest AI Internship is a very meaningful milestone in my academic and professional journey. Being selected as one of the first two students from my program to secure an AI-focused internship is both an honour and a responsibility. It validates the effort I have put into building my skills in artificial intelligence and motivates me to continue growing in this field.
What are you most looking forward to about the TechVest AI Internship?
I am most looking forward to gaining hands-on experience working with real-world AI systems and learning from industry professionals. I am excited to deepen my understanding of machine learning and AI applications, contribute to impactful projects, and further develop both my technical and professional skills. I also look forward to applying what I learn during the internship to future projects and my career in technology.
