3-Ps Bootcamp – Advanced Physical Assessment, Advanced Pathophysiology, and Advanced Pharmacology

This online 4-week course provides participants with a focused review of foundational concepts in pathophysiology, pharmacology, and physical health assessment. The course is designed for registered nurses preparing to begin advanced practice coursework, returning to graduate study, or transitioning into roles that require stronger integration of these core clinical sciences. Participants will review common alterations in health, basic principles of pharmacologic management, and systematic approaches to physical assessment, with emphasis on connecting assessment findings, disease processes, and medication-related considerations.

Participants will be provided access to an FDU email address upon registration. Participants will be added to the online course in FDU Blackboard on the first day of class. Please check your FDU email after registration, as the invitation to the course will be sent through the FDU email system.

Participants will learn to:

  • Integrate foundational concepts of pathophysiology, pharmacology, and physical assessment
  • Recognize common alterations in health and relate them to underlying disease processes
  • Apply basic pharmacologic principles to commonly encountered clinical conditions
  • Connect physical assessment findings with pathophysiologic and medication-related considerations
  • Strengthen clinical reasoning in preparation for advanced practice coursework and patient care

Cost:

$250 payable at time of registration. Please note that fee is non-refundable. Enrollees who are unable to attend will have payment applied to the next course offering.

Evidence of Completion:

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive an electronic certificate of completion. In addition, the course will be listed on the FDU CE transcript (which can be requested on the university transcript ordering page). 

Participants will additionally receive a certificate for xxx CONTACT HOURS for this nursing continuing professional development activity (New Jersey State Nurses Association approval number: xxxxxx). New Jersey State Nurses Association is an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
