Learn about the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Loan Repayment Program (LRP) and hear firsthand from an FDU faculty member who successfully received the award. The NIH LRP can help eligible researchers repay qualified educational debt while they pursue careers in biomedical, behavioral, social, and clinical research.

Federal funding agencies (e.g., NIH, NSF, DHHS, etc.) require research security training as of December 2, 2025. As of that date, all senior and key personnel named on proposals must complete the training before a proposal is submitted.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) now require the use of SciENcv (Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae) for the preparation of the biographical sketch and current and pending support document.

The Office of Grants and Sponsored Projects has released a new Grant-Funded Travel Policy, effective December 4, 2025. More details about the change may be found on the Grants and Sponsored Projects website. The website has been updated to reflect these changes.
