Research Policies and Procedures

  • Fairleigh Dickinson University is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and regulatory compliance in research and scholarly activities. The University has established comprehensive research policies and procedures to support compliance with applicable federal, state, local, sponsor, and institutional requirements. These policies apply to faculty, staff, students, and other individuals engaged in sponsored and non-sponsored research, as applicable.
  • In accordance with the University’s Policy on Policies, all official University-wide research policies are maintained in the University’s centralized Policy Library. Members of the University community should consult the SAMI Support Policy Library for the current versions of research-related policies and other official University policies.
  • The Office of Grants and Sponsored Projects also develops and maintains standard operating procedures, guidance documents, forms, training resources, and other tools that support the implementation of University policies and assist the University community in conducting research in a responsible, ethical, and compliant manner.
