You’re accepted. Use this checklist to ease your transition to FDU!

  1. Submit Your Deposit

    FDU has lifted the deadline for deposits. Submit your deposit here and follow the instructions.

  2. Activate Your FDU NetID

    Once your deposit has been processed by the Admissions Office you will receive a confirmation email to the email address you provided on your admission application and a confirmation letter in the mail. Each will have your personal link to activate your FDU NetID.

  3. Housing and Meal Plan

    Use your FDU NetID and Password to access and submit your online Housing and Meal Plan Application.

  4. Health Forms

    New Jersey state law requires all students to provide proof of immunizations to the University’s Student Health Services Office before they can register for classes or check into the residence halls. Download and complete all required Health Forms. If you have questions, contact the Student Health Services Office at 201.692.2437.

  5. Register for a Virtual New Student Orientation Module

    After submitting your deposit, register for a New Student Orientation Module. This experience will give you the opportunity to meet your classmates, learn about the FDU and Metropolitan Campus culture, and discover everything you need to know about being a college student! If you have any questions, contact the Campus Life Coordinator at 201.692.2676

  6. Disability Services

    If you are requesting accommodations you must submit a completed Self-Identification Form along with appropriate documentation. For questions regarding testing accommodations, contact the Office of the Provost at 201.692.2477 at least two weeks before your scheduled orientation date date. For more information contact Disability Support Services.

  7. Send Final Transcripts or GED

    A final high school transcript(s) or showing proof of graduation or a GED is required. Mail transcripts to:

    If final, official transcripts are not received, a registration hold will be placed on your account and admission may be revoked.

  8. Middle College Credits

    If you participated in FDU’s Middle College program during high school, please submit an official college transcript. Click here to access the Transcript Request Form.

  9. Advanced Placement, IB and College Credits

    Final testing results for Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB) and final, official college transcript(s) should be sent to:

    All results will be evaluated by academic advisors to determine transferrable credits.

  10. Apply for Financial Aid

    You and your family are encouraged to apply for financial aid at FDU. If you have not already done so, please file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Be sure to include Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus school code: 002607.
