Admission Procedures and Interview Information

Applications are evaluated by both the Admissions team and the International School of Hospitality, Sports, and Tourism Management.

An interview with the Program Advisor is required before the admission decision can be made. Interviews are held online via Zoom. Applicants will receive an email from the MHMS Program Advisor to schedule an interview. Interviews are 20-30 minutes in length.

For the interview, applicants will be asked to describe their professional experience and their interest in enrolling in the MHMS program, and discuss their career aspirations in the hospitality and tourism industry upon graduation. Applicants will be evaluated based on their professionalism during the interview. While the interviewer understands that applicants may be nervous or not have perfect speaking skills, preparation is strongly encouraged. The interview is a valuable opportunity for both the Program Advisor to learn more about the applicant and for the applicant to gain deeper insights into the program. Applicants will also have time to ask questions during the interview.
