FDU faculty members who are selected will receive$500 professional development awards for their participation.

Olsen College of Engineering and Science) and is designed to strengthen networking across campuses.Participants will discuss a pre-determined journal article. Faculty will be eligible for a $250 professional development award.
9/163PM – IRB Basics Webinar: Overview of IRB Forms
This workshop designed for newcomers and those seeking a refresher, covers the fundamentals of human subjects research: selecting the appropriate review pathway (exempt, expedited, full board), crafting clear consent materials, addressing privacy and data security, planning recruitment, and preparing submissions, modifications, and continuing reviews. Faculty, staff, and students at any stage—from idea to draft protocol—are welcome.
FDU has a university-wide subscription to GrantForward. Come and learn to use it to find external funding: build a profile, run targeted searches with filters, set alerts and recommendations, check eligibility, track deadlines, and export shareable opportunity lists.
