- 9/10 – Interdisciplinary Collaborative Grant Proposal Initiative
- Sponsored by National Science Foundation (NSF) EPIIC, this kickoff launches our interdisciplinary collaborative grant proposal initiative to develop interdisciplinary grant proposals in priority areas and pursue targeted external funding opportunities. FDU faculty members who are selected will receive $500 professional development awards for their participation.

- Our second Journal Club (sponsored by NSF EPIIC) will be led by Dr. Hong Zhao (Gregory H. Olsen College of Engineering and Science) and is designed to strengthen networking across campuses. - 9/16 3PM – IRB Basics Webinar: Overview of IRB Forms
- This workshop designed for newcomers and those seeking a refresher, covers the fundamentals of human subjects research: selecting the appropriate review pathway (exempt, expedited, full board), crafting clear consent materials, addressing privacy and data security, planning recruitment, and preparing submissions, modifications, and continuing reviews. Faculty, staff, and students at any stage—from idea to draft protocol—are welcome.

- FDU has a university-wide subscription to GrantForward. Come and learn to use it to find external funding: build a profile, run targeted searches with filters, set alerts and recommendations, check eligibility, track deadlines, and export shareable opportunity lists.
