The navigation

The left navigation is automatically generated to show child pages. If you want to link to something there that is not a child page, it must look different. One way to this is to use the Blue Button Format in the Sidebar Extra Content field. Otherwise, you can put links in the content area of the page.

Paragraph Styles

The Body Copy component can have three paragraph styles. This style is called “Intro Paragraph.”

Links in the Body Copy component

A list of links can be shown as a simple list:

Links to a resource from the Media Library that is not a webpage:

Button Bar component

The Button Bar displays up to three blue buttons per row, left-justified, with each button one-third of the width of the content area. The text in each button will word-wrap. You can add an optional red header and assign it a level. 

CTA (Call to Action) Card component

A CTA is no more than a link with a photo associated with it. On the default layout, two fit side-by-side, so an even number of them look nice. Odd number quantities are left justified.

Contact Card component

This component is recommended for office information and social media links.

Image and Video components

The image at the top of this page is shown with a caption. The image below is shown without one.

The video must be on YouTube. Each video also needs a still photo as its splash or “poster” image.

Request assistance from Web Operations to use these two components.

Less commonly used components

Table component. Check with Web Operations before you implement a table. There are right, wrong, and easier ways to put a table in a web page.

Quote component. More accurately, it’s a pull-quote. 

Logo Grid component. Unpleasant layout.

Accordion component. Issues with search and usability.

Slider component. Out-dated technology. More than one image is rarely viewed by a web site visitor.
