Forms

Inquiry forms.

A very simple inquiry form can be created so a visitor can request information.

A request for undergraduate information is handled by the admissions office, using a form controlled by that office. These forms may be part of the student information system, an Office 365 form, or a form created by Web Operations.

A request for graduate information is usually handled by a school or department. Copies of the inquiry should go to the graduate admissions office. Office 365 is often used, although Web Operations may create a form if needed.

Registration and collection of money: see FDU’s MIS.

MIS has systems in place to monitor and provide reports for event registration and payment processing.

Landing pages: see University Branding and Marketing.

In the realm of digital marketing, a landing page is a single web page that is the focal point of an advertising or marketing campaign. The visitor clicks on a link in an email or search engine ad and “lands” on this page. The page is designed with a single focus or goal, known as a call to action (CTA). The goal is usually to contact FDU using a form. An email address or phone number is often offered as an alternative path to the same goal.

Subscription: see Management Information Systems.

I you want your visitors to subscribe to a mailing list, contact FDU’s MIS office for instruction in Constant Contact.
