Summer 2022 Four Day Workweek is a FY23 benefit: 12 consecutive Fridays beginning May 20, 2022 through August 5, 2022 (May 20, May 27, June 3, June 10, June 17, June 24, July 1, July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29, August 5). The first four of these twelve four-day workweeks are a summer 2022 benefit only.
Please be advised that the summer 4-day work week policy will be reviewed annually and is subject to change. Union employees should refer to the OPEIU contract. Public Safety Officers do not participate in the summer four-day workweek.

Six of the twelve Summer 2022 Four Day Work-weeks fall within FY22. These are the six consecutive Fridays beginning May 20, 2022 through June 24, 2022. Summer 2022 Four Day Work-weeks continue through the first six Fridays of FY23: the five Fridays of July, 2022, and August 5, 2022.
Summer 2021 Four Day Work-week is a FY22 benefit: 8 consecutive Fridays beginning June 18, 2021 through August 6, 2021 (June 18, June 25, July 2, July 9, July 16, July 23, July 30, August 6).
For FY22, the University will not require staff to work additional hours during the summer 4-day work weeks. Regular full and part time staff will be expected to work their normal scheduled hours Monday through Thursday, and will be paid for the Friday during this eight-week period as noted on the schedule.
