Upcoming Enrolled Student Orientation

The College of Nursing and Allied Health (CoNAH) encourages enrolled students to attend orientation to optimally prepare for their program of study. There are several orientations to prepare students:

(1) FDU General Orientation.  This orientation is hosted by the FDU Office of Student Affairs and targeted for first-time/first-year students. Students should attend one of the many available sessions that occur during the summer prior to their first fall semester. Students may be able to schedule their required Florham Campus Accuplacer Assessment or Metro Campus Accuplacer Assessment in coordination with this orientation session. The dates for these sessions can be found here:

(2) CoNAH General Orientation. Students MUST purchase the Trajecsys, Kaplan, and Coursepoint programs prior to orientation, as well as purchase their uniform and begin the clinical clearance process (see tuition and fees webpage and instructions received from CoNAH. Students must also bring a laptop to Pre-Clinical Orientation. Technology staff will be available to assist students with accessing/using the required programs (pre-purchase is therefore necessary), including assuring that Citrix is installed on your laptop so that you can access the EPIC software. There will be an associated assignment due in the first week of class demonstrating access and use for these programs – do not miss out on this opportunity to learn how to use these programs!
